In March 2020, according to the joint launch of the 2020 "Beautiful China, I am an Action Taker" themed selection activity by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and the Central Civilization Office, after online voting and expert review, Huizhou Dongjiang Veolia Environmental Service Co., Ltd., as a participating unit recommended by the Huizhou Municipal Government, stood out from the fierce competition among many peers in the province and won the honorary title of "Advanced Unit for Opening Environmental Facilities to the Public in Guangdong Province in 2020."
From its operation in 2008 until before 2015, Huizhou Dongjiang Veolia Environmental Service Co., Ltd.'s operation and development were seriously hampered by the NIMBY effect.
